What a Guy

In my head there is a changing wish list of musicians I would love to see perform. I don't recall ever placing Leonard Cohen on this list. Perhaps thinking him a too fanciful addition. Well, life does bring some nice twists and surprises and yesterday I saw Mr Cohen live, in a vineyard, at summers twilight. It was a flawless and gracious performance and at 74 he rocks!!

Oh good for you! Now I'm a little envious....what a perfect setting....I'm betting the atmosphere was magic. Now I'm wondering if I can get my hands on last minute tickets for up here? hmm

My Mum went and in the car this morning said it was the best concert she has ever been to- that he had a really kind face. Did he sing Hallelujah? :-)

Hi Julie - it's lovely to come back home and have the leisure time to check out your lovely blog. I LOVE the colour collections ... breathtaking as usual :)

Ani de Franco's on my list and she plays Sydney on Tuesday. I am a bit in two minds about it. I haven't got a ticket, but boy would I like one, but it's also a super big week. Uni back, school back, Guides back. Big shifts in getting people back into routines.

He did have a very kind face. When the crowd applauded he would smile and there was the hint of the young man there. He did do a great hallelujah :)
