It was chilly when we arrived. We shuffled around the bright house near the beach in knits and slippers. The day before we left it was too hot to go outside. Miles Davies' Kind of Blue provided us with an easy sound track for these slow days indoors. I hand sewed a pin cushion from quilting squares to pass some time. The girls thought it was a pillow for their soft toys and asked for more to be made and soon there were four. Soon to come Part 2. Tales From the Shore~
