The sweet coolness of the day induced us to visit the Royal Botanical gardens this afternoon. So much colour and beauty is still to be seen there even at the end of this incredibly hot and dry summer. The Dahlias don't seem as plentiful this year. Seeing them again made me think about how time seems to have passed so quickly since I last photographed them in March 08. Still three more cool days ahead to frolic in:)

Hey Julie I was just browsing through some of your posts and came across these photos; they are just beautiful. It makes me want to have a wander through the gardens as soon as i can.
