Interiors

My inner introvert and I have been hanging out. When work, family and all the rest get too busy I start to feel the pull towards home to keep some balance. There has been a whole lotta baking, craft, music and spontaneous dancing; keeping me feeling content and on course.

I love being a homebody, I just wish I had more time for the crafting and painting and sewing I love to do. Your place looks like somewhere calm to hang out in.

Finding a cool rhythm between life’s inevitable demands and idiosyncratic self is a fine art. Looks like you good at it.

At last another post - you have been busy. I think i spy some gorgeous WG pottery, a perfect mate for succulent succulents. My collection is getting a bit ridiculous: Brett goes "another pot!", particularly that i dont mind giving a loving home to pieces that have a little crack (ie cheap, sorry thrifty!)...its not an investment commodity, why its a stunning piece of history and nostalgia.

Great to see your gals (my future daughters in law) love suzx

Hi julie, really nice to see you posting again! I too have been hanging around home sewing, cooking and avoiding the outside world when I can. Hibernation time! Love the crochet blanket!

p.s. I too have that framed stitching from our little ones, lovingly on display, that is always a lovely reminder of their early years! They are changing so fast! Also I love scrabble, my partner and I have an ongoing battle that has spanned many years, good fun, going to get it out tonight!

I just love your space and your blog. It's always so calming to visit here. That orange and grey-ish pottery in photo 1 is a show stopper. Love it.
