Your top photo instantly took me back to the front lawn of the Museum of SA circa 1982 when there used be a tree that dropped those lovely 'spines' we called them! Thanks for the time travel!
My Autumn colours are a bit more 'slushy' and damp! Everything seems to have a cool patina and there is definitely a chill in the air. Time to haul out the winter coats...

It is so intersting to see your world in Autumn while mine is so deeply in Spring! We still have stashes of acorns caps in all corners of the house.
