fresh

It is raining while I write this - love it! Today was mostly damp and chilly. Instead of cozying up indoors we were in and out of the garden. My older one has been busy up the back veggie patch, turning it into a multi-themed garden of her own. At the moment there is a little spinach, some oregano and mint, hopefully soon some carrots and zucchini will be sprouting.

It's been too wet to garden at my place. The beds are waterlogged and if this fine week of weather keeps up I should be able to get into the garden Saturday and Sunday. Here's hoping : )

I spent about an hour in my new 'garden" as it was too cold for me. Planted some bulbs in the bare front yard - I hope they come up. I like planting them in the dirt - it's sort of like putting them to bed and watching for them to wake up one fine morning! Thanks again for your photos and a Happy Birthday to the littlest one!!

Yeah nice!
I can almost smell and feel what it would be like in your humble home. Look forward to seeing the herbs and veggies...xxx
