Tender

My little one has been sick with a tummy bug. I always feel quieter and more sensitive to what is around me when my children are sick. Thankfully she is now on the mend and should be able to eat her first evening meal in three days with us. A new blackbird nest in a low bush just outside our dining room glass doors has provided me with some sweet diversion. Yesterday one egg was laid and today another.

I haven't visited for a while and loved looking through your recent posts. I hope the tummy bug has gone now. Can see the 50's fabric this time - love it too. Agree with your comment about the city - this week i have made an effort to bring my lunch and sit in the gardens and read. It's a much better break than walking round Rundle Mall.

Yes! Your instincts and senses kick in fully when your wee bairns are sick....sounds mean but they look so angelic when they have temperatures. I hope she feels better soon!
