Monday

Monday mornings come too soon. We were all so sleepy this morning and could have easily thrown Monday in, stayed indoors, pretended we all had a long nap and that Sunday had not yet departed. A three day weekend seems a very sensible solution to the sleepy Monday predicament. Here is a wiki search I did earlier on long weekends. In Norwegian, the term "oval weekend" is used to describe a long weekend. Normal weekends are described as "round". Hurrah for the oval and for more of them too!

I'm with you Julie. In fact my urge was so strong this morning that I did throw it in, and stayed at home today to nurture my soul instead. It's been a great day

Oooh, I'd like an oval weekend. Thanks for the birthday wishes. It may take some before I find a moment to blog again this week. Last week ended with hiccups and resulted in a lot of catching up, much of which I am doing this week. Promise to show the loot - and an op shopping spree - soon.

Yes, I vote for a permanent oval weekend...
This week has turned out to be a jump out of bed at the very last minute for us too. maybe it has something to do with the new season.
At least we'll be able to stretch out this weekend :)

At this point I would wish for an oval day, an oval week and oval weekend. There seem not enough hours anymore to do lovely things like look at your blog!x!

we can usually rally on mondays, but by tuesday we wish it was the weekend again, so tuesday is often a sleep-in/PJ day - so we have an "oval weekend", too, just with a little leap in the middle.

cute slippers. look like ones my grandma used to make.
