Mothers Day

This morning the sun shone through the window, making golden all of the lovely honey and straw shades in my daughters hair. A simple chocolate cake was baked. Sweet offerings were gratefully received. Beautiful pictures were painted in a sunny spot in the yard and I was once again reminded of the importance of slowing down and enjoying what you most love and enjoy. * Happy Mother's Day! x

I love the hand-made card Julie and the simple and lovely vase and fruit. I went to an open garden in Stirling (yes it was cold!) with my Mum and Dad. The autumn colours made me think of you so I gathered some beautiful leaves - they have all sorts of colours ranging from light green to dark red.
