rainy days and sundays

It was a rainy old weekend. Last night it felt so good to get under the covers a little earlier than usual and to have a snuggle, sips of warm milk and tea and adding an extra book to the usual bedtime quota.

At home with a cold today...oh wait a minute...ah ah achoo. Last night tucked up in bed with a box of tissues and a hot cuppa I turned to flickr to ease my sore head for a while.

autumn in two days

Saturday, sunny and warm with a little bit of a chill in the air. We drove south through the hills to a lovely little school to celebrate the autumn season and its gifts - one year we came home with this. Later that night we spent time with friends nearby and awoke the next morning to a different sky and on went the warm socks and and scarf as we headed out for a walk. Walking happily with friends, spotting gum nuts and picking late season blackberries.

just another sunday

an easy sunday at home (feb)

Love a good sunday. A good sunday can be a slow breakfast in bed for four or up at 6 making pancakes, eating tomatoes and basil fresh from from the morning market, heading out early for a walk or pottering in pj's till noon. Whatever happens on Sunday it seems to be the day when we feel easy enough to just do as we feel. What do you like about Sunday? I have also been enjoying sunday over here at come over sunday.
