...at the beach yesterday it was cool and windy. We walked the length of the jetty with tussled and twisty hair. We watched windsurfers thrown around and lifted out of the water while grains of sand pelted us - twas great - exciting - and refreshing. .

good things come in small packages....

...like me! It's my birthday today and I get to dance to whatever (and however) I like! have a happy boxing day x

thrifted tuesday

couldn't go past these gems at my local thrift store. I am beginning to tell myself that one can never have too many Heidi's or Anne of Green Gables to sit on the book shelf or given as presents.

A summer rain storm has left the parched neighbourhood looking shiny and new. My little one and I took a long walk along the river. Where we crossed over on stepping stones on the weekend has now been flooded over. Now the skies are all dark and silvery promising maybe just a little more rain.

warm sunday at home

very warm these last few days. Yesterday was spent at the local pools. Today we decided to tough it out at home and make some fun. Too sluggish to be up to much so my camera and I walked around the house for a little while taking pictures here and there and capturing some fun moments. We haven't put up a tree yet - Christmas has come so soon again. We will save that ritual till next weekend. The rain has just started to fall....
