on my way
Almost time to leave tonight for a short solo trip to Melbourne for a dear friends birthday and to catch up with my lovey brother. My daughters sudden high temperature made my happy go luck step falter a little this morning and I began to wonder if I should leave her while she is feeling so poorly. But she has now perked up a little and I keep reminding myself that she will be happy with her dad and big sister while I am away and that it really is OK to miss one fever out of the many we have shared together. Let me know about your favourite Melbourne Haunts. So far Meet Me at Mikes and the NGV Vienna exhibition are on the card.

Oh so so great for you to get away but yes hard to leave your little love bunny. She will remember your warm cuddles through her fever though I am sure. Have fun and please please take some of your amazing pictures to share...x.xxx
Have a lovely time in Melbourne, would love to see that exhibition as well!! My L is home sick as well, leaving is the hardest part but once you are there you will be fine and so will your little one. I love your yellow door! xx
I hope you have a great time Julie, you deserve it :) From my "vast experience" of Melbourne last year, we went to a Japanese restaurant on Swanston st (I think) not too far from Vic st end and had the most amazing tofu dish - it was crispy on the outside and soft inside with a special sauce with crunchy bits. We went back there the next night to have it again! Also Smith st Collingwood was legend for retro & vintage shops, eg vintage garage at no. 318 :) Hope the little one is feeling better soon. And yellow door is super cool.
Just love your yellow front door - and yellow clogs!
Julie! Your blog is so beautiful. I love the sweet moments you capture. I know know I can come by here and get my cat fix! I discovered your blog via Katiecrackernuts blog. Hope you had a great time in Melbourne.
Cheers,
Monique
