Middle winter weekend - wow wee, the weeks have been moving quickly by and I am very much looking forward to a week off over the school break but in between there's been lots of hot cups of tea, an excellent book, pretty pictures, games of uno, a big orange pot of lentil stew, a little warming wine, gas heater on high, catching moments of winter sun. Enjoy your week and take it easy when you can x

Thanks for the advice! I am so going to take it, life can be so busy and there is always something to do. This week I'm on a go slow, and loving it. Also loving your photo's and the sleepy mood of this post. Take care x
That is exactly the advice that I needed to hear today. thanks xox
I adore this post. My kinda weekend. And no, I haven't seen Blyton's gardening book. I'll have to look it up.
You make winter sound so cosy and homely.
I'm new to your blog, I find it very calming. I just gave you an award on my blog, no pressure though if they're not your thing!
your home is always captured so beautifully. i love your knitting needles too! Happy mid-winter to you x
perfect timing for a sweet reminder; yes at the moment I'm loving my bed, my socks and Anthony Bourdain's autobiography, my cat, daughter, grumpy husband and more x
I have to remind myself of that..so thanks for this post!
